ABOUT ME

My name is Devron Roy, and I am a Cinematographer, Director, and Editor. ​

I have worked on various projects, including those for my church, large events, and personal projects. I worked

as a Video Production Intern for 3 months experiencing with different kinds of lighting,

sound equipment and filming as well. My goal as a Cinematographer is to capture certain

aspects of life, reality or fantasy, and turn it into something enjoyable and something a certain

audience can relate to. 

 

I have worked with a variety of gear in the past and currently use it, but what I mostly use is the Sony FX6. I love the low-light capabilities it produces, as well as the stabilization and viewfinder. As an editor, if i'm working on a project that includes transitions and graphics, I use Adobe Premiere Pro, but for color grading, I will use DaVinci Resolve.

 

     I mostly enjoy working on feature films and my projects, but I am always open to a variety of projects that involve commercial, sports, and music. I mostly work on faith-based short films, but I am open to anything because I do not want to limit myself when it comes to shooting a project for a client.​
